PODCAST: PSYCHO GORMAN

This month, Prof. Scahill was invited back for another guest spot on The Necronomi.com, a critical theory podcast about the social commentary of horror cinema. Scahill introduced them to PG: Psycho Goreman (2020), a hilarious parody of 1980s child-friendly fantasy films like Masters of the Universe, The Gate, Explorers, and even E.T. Within this clever parody, however, is a scathing critique of religion, colonialism, and American exceptionalism.
