TELLURIDE FILM FESTIVAL 2021

Prof. Scahill made two trips to the lovely town of Telluride, Colorado this year to attend two different film festivals. The first was the prestigious Telluride Film Festival in September, where many films have their world premieres. Dr. Scahill was able to the films Power of the Dog, Red Rocket, Cyrano, Encounter, Cmon Cmon, and The French Dispatch months ahead of their release in movie theaters.

Prof. Scahill returned in October for the Telluride Horror Fest, one of the longest-running genre film festivals. There he was able to see mainstream and independent films in the horror genre, including Antlers, Hellbender, The Sadness, and When the Screaming Starts, and also talk directly with the filmmakers in a more intimate setting.
