PANEL: COLORADO FESTIVAL OF HORROR

Dr. Scahill was asked to join a panel on the topic of queer horror at the Colorado Festival of Horror. He was joined by Keith Garcia, Artistic Director of the Sie FilmCenter. After a screening of the documentary Scream, Queen!: My Nightmare on Elm Street, Garcia and Scahill answered questions from the audience about the uses of homophobic representation of queerness in the horror genre, and how queer filmmakers and allies are shifting the narrative.
